Kambryn finished her first year of preschool with Little Lighthouse Preschool on Thursday. It is kind of a bittersweet moment for me as a mom because I realize that kindergarten is just around the corner and that makes me a little sad.
Kambryn was able to build on a lot of things she already knew and also learn lots of new stuff. She recognizes all of her letters (upper and lower case) and is able to recognize some of the simple words that have been posted in her room all year (days of the week, colors, classmates names, ect), she can spell and write her own name now (which is awesome since she doesn't have the easiest name in the world) draw lots of shapes like circles, squares, traingles, crosses, ovals and rectangles. She loves to draw and will oftem draw people, flowers and rainbows. We are so proud of Kambryn and we enjoyed a fun filled last day at school with her Thursday, here are a few pictures of Kambryn and her classmates as they did their circle time for all the parents and of course said all their goodbyes.
